What’s The Problem With Plastic? [Free; RSVP]

July 19, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Take part in the global “Plastic Free July” movement by participating in this local workshop designed to help you gain a better understanding of this complex material. Annmarie Creamer with the Frederick County Division of Solid Waste and Recycling will discuss some of the environmental problems with plastic as well as the difficulties it poses for the recycling industry. With that background, we’ll tackle ways to reduce your use of plastic items, reuse the materials you have, and decrease the amount of waste created at home, work, and school.
