A whole foods way of eating gets us in touch with the basics of healthful eating. Join us and discover a “no-diet” approach to eating that emphasizes the simplicity of eating real foods. You will walk away from this class with a deeper understanding of what whole foods are, what role processed foods play in our health and culture, the science of how whole foods heal, and the importance of cultivating a nourishing relationship with food.
Keegan Abernathy, MS, CNS, LDN received his Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN). Keegan sees eating not only as a way to heal, but also as a practice for returning to our true nature. He believes that nutrition is an investigation into what we are eating and how we are eating. Gaining insight into these two components of eating allows for transformation, healing, and a joyous sense of well-being.
