Frederick News-Post Community Garden Tour [Free; RSVP]

October 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

We hope you can join us for a fall tour of the Frederick News-Post Community garden, composed of 100 vegetable plots leased by 80 families containing both annual and perennial vegetables, and 35 plots dedicated to producing produce for the Frederick Food Security Network.  We will also get to explore a 3,000 square foot pollinator garden featuring over 120 varieties of perennial pollinator plants to help feed their twelve colonies of honey bees.  You will be safe from the bees if you have allergies! Additionally, they host a two acre Burmese Community Garden for our neighbors living in Frederick.  On this tour you will also get to see a fall garden and preparations being made for winter gardening!
