Downsizing Simplified: Living Smaller and Loving It! [FREE]

Overwhelmed by stuff? And the work it takes to maintain it? This course will provide a jumping off point to living smaller and will cover all the major steps of the downsizing process. Expect group discussions addressing the challenges of sorting and parting with sentimental items. This discussion will bring clarity to the variety of steps and time involved in downsizing a household. Live in comfort; not clutter!

Stacy Reno has been a real estate agent and helping her clients Downsize for the past 10 years here in Frederick County. She realizes the journey of downsizing can feel overwhelming and you might not know where to start. As a dedicated instructor for Downsizing and “Living Smaller” within the IRL program at Frederick Community College, Stacy’s primary focus is to ease this transition for you. She’ll help you learn to navigate the planning and sorting process, providing you with abundant resources and guidance, so your transition to a clutter-free life will be a stress-free experience.

Maria Lewis is a retired planner with 40 yrs. experience personally and professionally. A strategist in the Hospitality Industry, Ms. Lewis uses the same skill set to offer one-on-one strategies and assistance for transition, downsizing, and the gentle art of  ‘Death Cleaning’.  Ms. Lewis is also the Hospitality Mentor for the SBA/SCORE Mid-Maryland Chapter.
