Board of Directors Candidate Application

Only Owners in good standing may run for a seat on the Board of Directors. Applications are due no later than 11:59 PM on July 10, 2020.

  • Briefly describe any business, management, volunteer, or community group experience you may have that is pertinent to this application.
  • Include Organization Name, Years as Director, and Officer Position(s) Held
  • Candidate's Statement

    To help Owners learn more about you, please answer the following questions. Please limit your response to no more than 325 words altogether, for these four questions. The Common Market will include your answers with the ballot to Owners prior to the election, publish them on our website, and may share them through additional means. The Board Development Committee reserves the right to edit your submissions, as necessary.
  • Tell us what makes you want to serve on the Board.
  • Tell us what experience you've had with co-op, and why you think they're important.
  • Tell us what would make you a good Board member.
  • Tell us anything else you'd like Owners to know about you.
  • Required Actions

    Please view our list of required actions. All boxes must be checked to qualify for candidacy. Your completion of these items will be reported on the ballot, along with your candiate statements.
  • I will attend one or more Board of Directors meeting(s) on May 28th, June 11th, June 27th, and/or July 30th. (All meetings times are 6 pm - 9 pm)

  • I will attend a Board of Directors information session June 11th 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, June 22nd or June 22nd 6:30 pm-7:30 pm.

  • If elected, I commit to attending the Annual Meeting via video conferencing (date TBA).

  • If elected, I commit to attending the Board Retreat on November 7th 9 am-4 pm & November 8th 9 am-12 pm
