Holistic Well-Being Yoga [Donation Based]

This class invites students to explore gentle movement and mindful breathing while fostering awareness of body and mind. Guided through soft, intentional asanas, and modifications for all levels, the practice offers space for stretching, relaxation, and self-discovery through each asana or posture.
Like mindful eating and the tending to a garden, each posture in this yoga class becomes and act of nourishment, it encourages presence with each movement nourishing the body and mind as we cultivate inner balance each posture supports holistic wellbeing. Through accessible postures, participants strengthen, restore balance, and reconnect with holistic rhythms that support health, harmony, and resilience both on and off the mat.
Donation Based:
Funds raised will go towards supporting Yogamour’s Garden of Natural Wellness, a community spaced dedicated to mindful eating, gardening and holistic well-being.
Danica, a certified yoga instructor, discovered solace in embracing deep breaths, and mastering the art of letting go. Danica began her yoga practice in 2008. After the first breathing exercise, she realized that she found a sense of peace, calm and self-acceptance that she had never experienced before. It became her mission to share this feeling and experience with as many people as possible. For over fifteen years, Danica has studied yoga, meditation, breath work, Kundalini, and many other wellness practices. Danica leads Yoga and Mindful Classes at Yogamour Healing Arts Center in Frederick, MD. While continuing to follow her passion, she founded, and is the Executive Director of Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. a local non-profit organization. The Mission is to “help youth identify their emotions and effectively communicate their needs. She leads class with youth and families through her organization as well as with various partnerships and collaborations.
