Build Your Own Bouquet with Flourish Flowers!

September 11 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

$50.00 – $70.00

Join us to learn the basics of bouquet making—how to choose, arrange, and care for fresh flowers—while exploring simple design principles that bring your arrangements to life. All the gorgeous, fresh flowers are from local growers, so every stem supports our community and the environment. Each participant will leave with a stunning bouquet in a mason jar and the skills to make more at home. No experience needed—just a love for flowers!

Tara Gettig, owner of Flourish Flowers, grows cut flowers in western Frederick County. Her flowers are available through seasonal pop-ups and a CSA (subscription) program, with the Common Market as a pick-up location. Tara is committed to sustainable agriculture and operates on a small-scale, low-til model, which is good for the soil and the flowers. Tara has a background in natural resources and is so grateful to continue to do work that focuses on sustainability and sharing the beauty of nature. In addition to serving customers, Flourish Flowers is rooted in community care—sharing the joy of fresh flowers with Faith House and several long-term care facilities. With every bouquet, Tara hopes to cultivate connection, sustainability, and a celebration of local agriculture.
