Cancelled: Apothecary 101 w/ Nàdarra Léigh

April 18, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$10.00 – $20.00

Do you have a liniment here, maybe a salve or infused oil there? Have you started a home apothecary but need help building it out? Maybe it is time to get your home apothecary in order.  Come and learn how to build your home apothecary so it can be useful and effective for maintaining your family’s health. From the garden to the shelf, this fun workshop will get your creative juices flowing as we talk about growing medicinal herbs, demonstrate ways to use dried herbs and teach you how to create simple salves, oils, liniments, teas and tinctures. For those who don’t have much of a green thumb, we will talk about safely purchasing organic, unadulterated herbs and gathering wild plants.

Students will leave with a list of “must haves” and “nice to haves” so they can finish their own apothecary with confidence.
