Want to create a backyard that supports local wildlife and pollinators? Join us for a fun and informative midday workshop on native gardening with Lauren Paulet-Miller, the City of Frederick’s Sustainability Outreach Coordinator.
Learn how native plants can help create healthy habitats for birds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial pollinators while making your garden more resilient and beautiful. Whether you’re starting a new garden or looking to improve an existing one, you’ll leave with practical tips and inspiration for supporting local ecosystems right at home.
This workshop is part of the City of Frederick’s Bee City Initiative, a community effort dedicated to protecting and promoting pollinator habitats. Bee City brings people together to create healthier environments for bees and other pollinators through education, conservation, and community action.
No gardening experience is necessary—all are welcome!
