Mobilize Frederick is eagerly looking forward to our 4th annual Climate Summit, co-sponsored by Hood College, on February 27-28, 2026. This year’s theme, “Local Solutions to Global Challenges” underscores the potential of collective action in addressing the climate crisis. Come learn about climate solutions that you can use to make a difference!

This year’s summit will feature:

  • 3 keynote addresses
  • Small group workshops on native landscaping, climate-conscious decision-making, and more
  • 2 panel presentations
  • Student activities and more information about Mobilize Frederick’s Green Schools program
  • Networking opportunities with more than 400 attendees, including elected officials, business owners, educators, residents, and community leaders
  • Exhibitor Hall filled with 50 nonprofits, local businesses, and government agencies

One-day tickets cost $30, and two-day tickets are $50. We also have a pay-what-you-can option for folks who would like to attend but have barriers to afford the full ticket price. REGISTER HERE!

All students (including college) receive free admission to the Climate Summit.

An optional boxed lunch is available for purchase for $25 each, but attendees also have the option to pack their own lunch or visit nearby restaurants. The closest restaurants are a 15-20 minute walk from the Hood College campus.
