SUMMARY:Cancelled: Herb Spirals [OFFSITE]
DESCRIPTION:Herb spirals add instant architecture to your landscape that looks good year around. Herb spirals are versatile and can be tailored to fit any space from an urban courtyard to an entire yard. Having one right outside the kitchen window will inspire fantastic meals from your edible landscape! Join us in building one from scratch and learn to create your own just in time for this growing season. \nMichael Judd has worked with agro-ecological and whole system designs throughout the Americas for the last 20 years focusing on applying permaculture and ecological design to increase local food security and community health in both tropical and temperate growing regions. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn how to grow the cut flower garden of your dreams? Join us for a field trip to Hidden Ridge Farm! \nLocal grower and supplier of bouquets sold at the Common Market\, Melane Kinney Hoffmann\, will provide practical growing tips for what works in our region and how to succeed using organic practices.  You’ll also learn how to choose flowers you love for the growing season that works for you\, including conditions for your soil\, light\, and water levels.  We’ll finish up with Melane sharing a few basic bouquet design principles.
