Liz specializes in hand-crafted\, micro-brewed kombucha—just about as local as you can get!

DESCRIPTION:Workshop attendees will learn about herbs and foods that marry medicine with nutrition. During the workshop\, we will discuss and eat foods from the rainbow and explain the unique phytochemistry for classes of foods and herbs that are antioxidant\, anti-inflammatory\, anti-cancer and more. We will touch on growing techniques as well as wild harvesting/foraging tips. \nNadarra Leigh was formed by Claire Hudson and Rachel Schroeder to provide herbal education to individuals and families. Claire has been a practicing community herbalist for over ten years. She is an adjunct professor at Hood College where she teaches environmental science and sustainability. Claire recently completed an advanced course in Herbal Constituents and Phytochemistry taught by Lisa Ganora (RH). Rachel has been a practicing community herbalist for over nine years. She is currently enrolled in the Clinical Herbalism program taught by David Winston (RH).
