SUMMARY:Sustainable Investing: Easier than you think [Free; RSVP]
DESCRIPTION:When you buy sustainable goods at Common Market\, you’re not just making a purchase – you’re expressing your values. If you become an owner at Common Market\, you’re going even further: you’re declaring your support for a business approach that properly balances People\, Planet\, and Profit. \nWhat if you could do that on a larger scale? Well\, you can\, and the opportunity to do that is sitting right in your retirement funds or other investments. You’d be surprised at how easy it can be to redirect your investments to: \n\nInvest in funds that promote clean energy\, animal welfare\, or women leadership\nInvest with a company that actively votes to invest through a fund manager that actively votes to improve the companies you’re invested in\nDivest from companies that are “bad actors” (however you want to define it).\n\nThis session will explain what sustainable investing is and how it creates positive change\, while still benefiting your own financial future. It will also give you some concrete next steps to get started investing in ways that you can feel good about.  This session is designed for novice and experienced investors alike. \nThis class will be held in the Rt 85 Community Room\, space is limited! RSVP below to reserve your spot!
